Elizabeth 1 2
- Marriage: Stephen LEFEW 1 2
Noted events in her life were:
1. Census: 1800, Rockingham County, North Carolina. 3
Eliza Lefew: 9 free persons of color
[Immediately prior to Elizabeth, Joseph Lefew was enumerated with a household of 6 free persons of color. Also Polly Leffew was enumerated a few lines later with a household of 4 free persons of color. It's clear that following the death of Stephen Lefew, the family was considered to be non-white. It appears that all such families were grouped together at the end of the census, rather than appearing with their neighbors.]
Elizabeth married Stephen LEFEW.1 2 (Stephen LEFEW died before 26 May 1800 in Rockingham County, North Carolina 4.)
