Elijah's 40 acres on waters of Whetstone Creek and Dan River, adjoining George Carter, Josiah Lephew and others, were sold at public sale on 18 Feb 1802 to George Carter for 10 pounds. [From a phonetic standpoint, this could be either Elijah or Elias, but since Elias' wife Rebeckah appears as head of household in the same census, that probably means Elias had died.]
