bullet  Research Notes:

The 1850 census for Cass County, Missouri shows Absalom was 80 years old and born in Virginia. If his age was recorded correctly, it would seem more likely that he was born in Caswell County, North Carolina. Might he have been a bit older than 80? If so, he may have been born to Thomas and Jemima Fuller Majors when they lived in Virginia. Note this would also create some space between Abner and Absalom, who otherwise must have been twins.
