Legg, Administrator of the Estate of M. Barry, Dec'd, obtained against James F. Sheppard and Thomas A. Sheppard on 17 May 1862, one judgment being for $126.28 and the other being for $119.62. This is puzzling given that on 6 May 1862, James Sheppard seemingly prevailed in a action for specific performance against the Estate of Marcelmus Barry. Notwithstanding the acknowledgement by S. H. Legg, Administrator, that the Sheppards had fully performed and were entitled to a deed, perhaps the final payments were not made. See Estate Administration notes for Marcelmus Barry.]
