Samuel and Elizabeth Collett, parents of Ellender, appears in Volumes Four and Five of Bork's compiled records. In Volume Five, it is stated that John and Ellender (Collett) Hamilton moved from Wayne Co., KY to Macon Co., MO. This is incorrect. Only John's brothers, Joseph and Charles, moved to Macon Co., MO. John and Ellender moved to Morgan Co., IN, as did Ellender's parents. 5 6 Ellender married John HAMILTON, son of Charles HAMILTON and Hannah HENRY, on 5 Oct 1809 in Wayne County, Kentucky.1 (John HAMILTON was born on 19 Mar 1782 in Lincoln County, North Carolina,4 7 died on 1 Apr 1857 in Morgantown, Morgan County, Indiana 4 7 and was buried in East Hill Cemetery, Morgan County, Indiana 4 7.)   Marriage Notes: "Hamilton, John and Ellender Collett. Surety, Samuel Collet. Married 5 Oct 1809 by Elliot Jones. Endorsement on Bond: 'lady parents present and consented.'" 1
