[An aside: When I was a newbie and just beginning my Hamilton research, I assumed the only children of Charles and Hannah were the five mentioned in the deposition by Joseph Hamilton in connection with Hannah's pension application. I couldn't understand how all the others were part of the picture. I adopted a "show me" attitude -- which comes easily given all my Missouri ancestors -- and it was Gale who answered the call and introduced me to the wonderful research that had already been done on this family.]
