The letter which provided this information from church records was written by the Rector of the church, namely D. V. Warner. Mr. Warner stated the recipient's request for information had been forwarded to him by The Bishop of Nova Scotia. Elinor married Jesse LEAR, son of John LEAR Jr. and Jemima, in New York.1 3 (Jesse LEAR was born in 1759 1 5 and died in 1827 1 5.)
