Two possibilities:
Household of Elias Majors: Possibly the male age 15-20.
Household of Larkin Majors: Possibly the male age 15-20.

Capt. Haley's Co. (No. 14): Majors, William, 1 white poll
[Since this is the first year William appears on the tax lists, that confirms he was born about 1812. This tax list also confirms William was most likely the son of Elias, since Elias was on the same tax list and was the only Majors of the previous generation living in Roane County at this time. ]

[William was not listed in 1836, although his brother, Thomas, and his uncle, Abner, were listed in the 11th District, the successor to Capt. Haley's Co. While there was a William listed in the 12th District, that was not the subject William because that William continued to be taxed in that district even after 1840, by which time the subject William had moved to Missouri.]

William married Mary Prudence RHEA on 11 May 1834 in Roane County, Tennessee.² (Mary Prudence RHEA was born in 1810 in South Carolina ² and died on 12 Nov 1868 in Anderson County, Kansas ².)
