Birth Notes: Tombstone reads he was age 42 when he died. Death Notes: Buried at a cemetery in the Cabin Creek area in what is now Davidson County, on land once owned by Israel Cox and later by his son, David Cox. Tombstone shows his date of death to be 3 Jun 1788. Israel married Mary QUICK on 3 Jul 1765.4 (Mary QUICK died on 22 Aug 1829 4.) |
1 Family Bible of David Cox. David Cox was the son of Israel Cox, who in turn was a son of Ephraim Cox. A transcribed copy of the bible was provided to me by Nancy Kiser, a descendant of Ephraim Cox by his son Moses.
