John L. STRONG
|
John L. STRONG 1Research Notes: Jim Rolff identified John L. Strong as a probable son of Thomas, because he was closely associated with the Thomas Strong family in the records. For example, (i) he was a member of the Salem Baptish Church in 1831, (ii) he and Milka (Milcha) Strong appear in Dr. Wright's daybook about 1832-1833, and (iii) he is listed just before Eliab Strong in the 1839 tax list for DeKalb County. He was also listed in the 1836 tax list for Cannon County, wherein he was a land and a slave owner, suggesting he was somewhat older that Eliab. 2 3 4 5 |
