Milcha
(-Bef 1839) |
Milcha
Research Notes: It is not at all clear that Nancy and Milcha were different wives. Nancy was identified as the mother of Coleman Strong in his death certificate. But, in Aug 1816, Thomas and Milcha (Thomas' wife per later church records) joined the Salem Baptist Church in Liberty, now DeKalb County, Tennessee. Unless Nancy died shortly after the births of Coleman and Eliab, both born about 1815, and Thomas remarried shortly thereafter, she and Milcah might be one and the same person. Noted events in her life were: 1. Court: Jul-Oct 1839, DeKalb County, Tennessee. 2 Milcha married Thomas STRONG, son of James STRONG and Mary, about 1816 in Smith County, Tennessee.2 (Thomas STRONG was born about 1780 in Rockingham County, North Carolina 3 and died before Jul 1839 in DeKalb County, Tennessee 2.) |
