Jim Rolff identifies Sneed Strong as a son of Samuel Strong and Mary Adams, primarily because Sneed and William Strong both bought property from the same person (Charles K. Winston), on the same date (15 Feb 1854), and in the same location (lots on Carroll St. -- presumably in Nashville -- Davidson County, Tennessee), which indicates Sneed and William were probably brothers.
