Since only Martha C. Thompson was mentioned as a minor heir of Jane Thompson, Dec'd, in the estate administration of Mary Strong, Dec'd, one would presume she was the only child of Francis and Paralee Jane. This seems confirmed by the 1860 census. But, estate proceedings for John Strong, Dec'd, indicate there was a minor heir named Elizabeth Thompson. Who was Elizabeth? Since census records show only Martha as a child of Francis and Paralee Jane (Strong) Thompson, it would seem Elizabeth must have been a daughter of Matilda.
