Nancy 1

  • Marriage: Thomas STRONG

bullet  Research Notes:

It is not at all clear that Nancy and Milcha were different wives. Nancy was identified as the mother of Coleman Strong in his death certificate. But, in Aug 1816, Thomas and Milcha (Thomas' wife per later church records) joined the Salem Baptist Church in Liberty, now DeKalb County, Tennessee. Unless Nancy died shortly after the births of Coleman and Eliab, both born about 1815, and Thomas remarried shortly thereafter, she and Milcah might be one and the same person. 2 3
