Agnes FRANKLIN 1
Research Notes: I would not ordinarily identify Agnes as one of the children of William and Nancy. Rather, I would have noted her existence in the records and indicated she had not yet been identified. But, the pairing with Charles Hutcherson as a witness to the 1801 deed shows a connection with the Franklins of Madison/Garrard Co., KY, particularly James Franklin, for whom Charles Hutcherson served as bondsman when he married. William and Nancy Franklin are the only persons from both Madison/Garrard and Wayne Counties that could have been Agnes' parents. As stated in the Research Note for William, however, I have not excluded the possibility that John Franklin of Madison/Garrard County could have been her father. Noted events in her life were: 1. Witness: 1801, Wayne County, Kentucky. 1 |
