Sally FRANKLIN 1Research Notes: Sally is a proven child of William and Nancy by virtue of the endorsement on the marriage bond. Noted events in her life were: 1. Census: 1810, Wayne County, Kentucky. 2 Sally married John MORRIS on 27 Oct 1802 in Wayne County, Kentucky.1 Marriage Notes: "Morris, John and Sally Franklin. Surety, Elijah Franklin. Bond dated 26 October 1802, Married 20 January 1803 by North East Esq. (In the marriage register -- the marriage date is the 27th of October 1802; the original return of North East is the 1803 date). Endorsement on Bond: "Elijah Franklin asertes the consent of his father." (E.F. brother of Sally.)" [I've opted to use the 1802 date for their marriage.] 1 |
