Elias Lephew of Franklin County, Virginia sold Lot No. 5 consisting of 40 acres bounded by Josiah Lephew's lot on the west and Uriah Lephew's lot on the east, which descended to him in 1801 in accordance with an agreed upon division of the land of his father, Stephen Lephew, Dec'd, to Enoch Lephew of Rockingham County for $40. Witnessed by John Jones and Philip Maybery.
