Joseph BOWER

  Research Notes:

Joseph is tentatively identified as a son of Henry and Catharine because he served in the Continental Army, presumably from Berkeley County, although that's not clear. See court record in Events. Since Joseph does not appear in any Berkeley County records after the War, there is no confirming evidence that Joseph was a son of Henry and Catharine. Note, however, that Henry Jr. named a son Joseph. ¹
