Elizabeth married William LAMBERT on 21 Mar 1804 in Garrard County, Kentucky.^{1 2} (William LAMBERT was born about 1785 in Pendleton County, Virginia (now West Virginia) ².)

William Lambert & Elizabeth Lear, Bond No. 303 and License dated 20 Mar 1804, Bond by Matthew Lambert, no return, consent of parents, William and Elizabeth Lear.

Tutt Lambert has examined the actual bond and confirms the bondsman was Matthias Lambert, father of William. The bond also had the permission signatures of Elizabeth's father and step-mother. A written statement dated 20 Mar 1804 by Eden Bails appears with said bond, to wit, "This certifies that William Lear and his wife Elizabeth is satisfied that my daughter Elizabeth Lear and William Lambert shall be joined together in matrimony."

Tutt also reports that they although the cited marriage record source does not show a return, they were married on 21 Mar 1804. Tutt must have noticed a return date. ^{1 2}
