1 Family Records of Susan Davis Dixon. Susan descends from Henry Bower, Sr. of Berkeley County, (West) Virgina, through his son, Henry Bowers Jr. Her substantial Bowers research is featured at the Lively Roots website maintained by Gerald Lively, beginning with Henry Sr. at http://www.livelyroots.com/gerald/9911.htm, and continuing, at least for her line, to the present generation of descendants. Susan's e-mail address is spydr1031@aol.com.

2 Bowers Family Records of Gary Bettcher. Although he is not a Bowers descendant, Gary began researching the Bowers family of Berkeley County, Virginia/West Virginia as a result of his purchase and restoration of the Home Farm of Henry Bowers. Jr., built in 1805. He has been as meticulous in his research as in the restoration of the Home Farm and has provided me with many records that are only available locally. The Bowers family is very fortunate that it was Gary who bought the Home Farm. Those interested in learning more about his restoration adventure and his Bowers research can contact Gary at gbettcher@aol.com. A photo of the Home Farm before restoration can be viewed at http://www.livelyroots.com/gerald/9919.htm and a photo after restoration can be viewed on this website at the page entitled "Other Photos of Interest."
