Although Hickman is listed as head of household, James and Dolly appear to have lived with Hannah on her property, for it was she who appeared on the 1830 tax list. See 18 Jul 1830 letter written by Hannah Hamilton for confirmation.] James married Dorothy HAMILTON, daughter of Charles HAMILTON and Hannah HENRY, on 19 Apr 1825 in Wayne County, Kentucky.1 (Dorothy HAMILTON was born in 1799-1800 in Garrard County, Kentucky 5 7 and died in 1860-1870 in Morgan County, Indiana 8.)   Marriage Notes: "Hickman, James T. and Dolly Hamilton. Surety, James H. Hamilton. Married 19 Apr 1825 by John Williams." 1
