Set forth below are the age ranges based upon census records: 1810: 1800-1810 1820: 1805-1810 1830: 1800-1810 1840: 1800-1810 1850: 1799 1860 and later: Unknown to me Note the fact that she was a signatory to the 29 Oct 1821 deed to The Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church suggests she was then age 21, which would indicate she was born no later than 1800. Unless a census subsequent to 1850 is to the contrary, I suspect she was born 1799-1800, which is somewhat earlier than generally appears in the family records of other researchers (1800-1810 per Jan Vanatta; 1805 per Gale Judkins). Additional census work would also help with the year of her death (after 1860 per Jan Vanatta; after 1880 per Gale Judkins).   Noted events in her life were: 1. Deed: 1821, Wayne County, Kentucky. 2 Dated 29 Oct 1821, Recorded 4 Apr 1822, Bk C:318 Dolly Hambleton was among the grantors of land that had been owned by Charles Hamilton, Dec'd, to the Trustees of The Methodist Episcopal Church. Census: 1850, Morgan County, Indiana. 4 Dwelling 650, Family 650, Jackson Twp. Dorothy Hickman, 51 F, KY Mary A. Hickman, 19, F, KY James H. Hickman, 16, M, IN John W. Hickman, 13, M, IN W. M. Hickman, 11, M, IN Dorothy married James Taylor HICKMAN on 19 Apr 1825 in Wayne County, Kentucky.1 (James Taylor HICKMAN was born about 1800 6 7 and died before 1840 in Indiana 3.)   Marriage Notes: "Hickman, James T. and Dolly Hamilton. Surety, James H. Hamilton. Married 19 Apr 1825 by John Williams." 1
