No other records have been found for John C. Strong, although there is a John Strong born about 1832 in Tennessee, who appears in the 1880 census for Wright County, Missouri. His family consisted of wife Winnie, age 48, daughter Louise, age 19 (suggesting John and Winnie married 1860-1861), daughter America, age 17, daughter Frances, age 15, daughter Sarah, age 12, son Albert, age 10 and daughter Dora, age 4. However, there is no evidence to suggest John C. Strong was the John Strong of the 1880 census. ¹
