Obituary from unknown Glasgow, Kentucky newspaper, found in old scrapbook:
"Mr. John B. King died June 9, 1911 at home of son Henry C King, Kelleyville, Okla, of infirmities of old age. Age: 86. Was native of Barren Co and served several terms as jailor. Wife died a few years ago. Three sons: John B King Jr., Glasgow Junction, Edgar King, Cave City, Henry C. King, Kelleyville, Okla. Interred in cemetery near Glasgow Junction."
