bullet  Research Notes:

Since Joseph Stewart Barry was the first husband of Sarah Jane King and thus not my ancestor, my research regarding him prior to their marriage has been minimal. However, I believe he was the son of Richard Barry and Nancy Smith. His namesake was Richard's father, Joseph Stewart Barry (Sr.). Those interested in this Barry line are advised to contact Joy Jackson <JJack12838@aol.com>. For the complete Barry lineage, consult Cheryl Bell's website, beginning at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~cbell/fam00002.htm.
